Finding a supervisor

The areas of legal research covered by academic staff at the ANU College of Law are wide and varied.
See the Research section of this website for more detail.

There are two ways to find a potential area of research and a Supervisor for your HDR program.

Browse our centres & themes

You can browse through the 22 research themes and 5 research centres. Click through to a relevant centre or theme page where you will see a 'People' tab which lists all the academic staff in the ANU College of Law who are members of that centre of affiliated with that theme. In the themes you will also see a list of the academic's research interests, to give you an idea of their area of specialisation. Then click on the person’s name to see their full profile.

Search by research interest/topic

Alternatively you can search for an ANU Law researcher using the grey shaded box, and inputting a specific research interest / topic. If you know the academic's name you can also search by first name or surname.

ANU Researchers

In addition to the lists of ANU Law academic staff on this website, you may wish to consult  ANU Researchers (which includes a searchable list of legal researchers at ANU who you might be able to collaborate with, or be supervised by).
