Helen Whalan was named 2019's Leslie Zines Constitutional Law Scholarship recipient. 

Why did you choose to study law?

As soon as I started, I just fell in love with law. Although I am interested in many different areas of law, constitutional law is so fundamental to the legal landscape in Australia that it is just something I keep coming back to.

Have you undertaken any international opportunities or clinical internships?

As the recipient for the Leslie Zines Constitutional Law Scholarship, I will be interning with the Attorney-General’s Department for 10 weeks.
