Novel citizens: represenations of citizenship in law and literature

Amy Hamilton is PhD candidate at the ANU College of Law within the Centre for Law, Arts and the Humanities. Her thesis explores representations of Australian citizenship in law and literature. She is interested in broader questions of belonging, identity and attachment that citizenship inspires and the nature of government power over citizens and non-citizens.
