Access and Inclusion is currently operating remotely and is offering appointments via Zoom.

The ANU Access and Inclusion group assists students who have a disability, medical condition or who are recognised primary carers of a person with a disability, to participate fully in their program of study by providing advice and support that minimise the impact of disability in education.

Assistance and Feedback on Writing

Available to all ANU students

Academic Skills are offering students a range of 1-1 support options, either on campus, online (via Zoom) or by written feedback.

Students are encouraged to make use of these as they can gain highly personalised assistance and feedback on their writing and other language questions.

Available to all ANU students with language backgrounds other than English.

Students who have English as their first language can volunteer their time with the groups.

Academic Skills also runs English Conversation Groups in person or online.

Conversation groups are a great way to meet new people and practice your English.

 

English and Wellbeing Enhancement Series (EWES)

Available to all first-year international students studying at the ANU

EWES is now online with three English Enhancement Workshops offered to onshore students.

Each workshop includes a teacher-facilitated Zoom session and interactive online language development tasks, followed with a feedback session. Each workshop is repeated twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

  • These online workshops include a teacher-facilitated Zoom session, interactive online language development tasks and follow up feedback
  • Sessions are repeated over the week and new sessions will be added as we progress through the Semester.
  • Students have responded positively to these online sessions.
