In 2016, Sarah became the youngest lawyer ever to be elected as President of the ACT Law Society. She has over ten years’ experience practising in the ACT specialising in personal injury claims, other civil issues, and criminal matters. Since being admitted she has been an active representative for the whole of the legal community and brings a fresh and enthusiastic approach to the Presidency.
- Has served as a Member of the ACT Law Society Council (2009–12), including serving as Senior Vice-President (2015) during 2009–12.
- Member of the Pro-Bono Clearing House Panel, the Legal Aid Review Panel, the Functions and Law Week Committee, the Criminal Law Committee and the Legal Profession Act & Ethics Committee.
- She is a mentor in the Young Lawyers Mentor Program and the Out for Australia Mentor Program.
