Dr Andrew Lu is one of Western Australia's top medical defence lawyers and leads HBA Legal's Health Law division. He was previously head of professional development at the Law Society of Western Australia, and a partner in a respected insurance law firm. 

• Is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law (2018), a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (2009) and Fulbright Ambassador. 
• Honoured with a Business News 40 Under 40 Award (2017), Arts Law's Arts Community Pro Bono Award (2016) and the Order of Australia Medal in the Queen's Birthday List (2008). 
• Supports the not-for-profit sector as Director of the Australian Youth Orchestra, National Gallery of Australia Foundation, and Arts Law Centre of Australia.
