Verity has had a distinguished career on both sides of the bar table. Her time working as an Associate to the Hon Justice Mary Finn, the Hon Justice Madgwick and the Hon Justice Beaumont inspired her to pursue a career as a judicial officer, coupled with her passion for untangling arguments and strong belief in justice being available to all.

• Previously a Barrister at Tenth Floor Chambers where she specialised in Administrative, Commercial/Equity and Criminal Law.
• She has been an Adjunct Lecturer in Public Law at the University of Sydney and in Federal Constitutional Law at the University of New South. 
• She was a member of both the Legal Aid NSW (Criminal Appellate) Panel and the Board of Directors of the Commercial Law Association Australia.
