Environmental Law
Amy is currently undertaking a PhD with the ANU College of Law examining Australian policymaking processes. Amy's research involves a critical analysis of the emergence and formalisation of biodiversity offsetting as a policymaking tool to reduce net environmental loss due to residential, industrial and agricultural developments.
Amy has previously worked as a tutor for ENVS2013/6013: Society and Environmental Change and ENVS1001/6101: Geography of Sustainability at the Fenner School of Environment and Society (ANU). Amy has also served as co-convenor of the ANU Small Island Developing States research and discussion group from 2016-2017.
Prior to commencing her PhD candidature, Amy worked as a research assistant for The Australia Institute examining education policy, climate change, and environmental regulatory policy in Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the Australian National University.
