“Dennis’ thoughtful generosity will make a big difference to our academics and our research. ANU Law owes much to the many contributions of Professor Pearce over many years, of which this generous contribution is the most recent. We extend our deepest thanks to Dennis for his continued support of ANU Law and its research mission.”
-Associate Professor Ryan Goss, Head of the ANU Law School
The ANU Law School is proud to announce the inaugural recipients of the Dennis Pearce Travel Grants - a new initiative supporting high-impact, research-focused travel for academic staff at the ANU Law School.
Thanks to the generosity of Emeritus Professor Dennis Pearce AO FAAL, the grants provide up to $10,000 annually to support high-impact domestic and international research travel for academic staff with a priority given to academic levels A to C. This travel contributes to the School’s global research profile and fosters future opportunities in publication, research impact, and funding. To mark the first year of the Dennis Pearce Travel Grants, the ANU Law School provided some additional financial support to extend the reach and significance of the initiative.
We are delighted to announce the recipients of the 2025 Dennis Pearce Travel Grants:
- Justin McCaul – to conduct interviews and meetings with native title holders in Brisbane and Cairns.
- Anna Saunders – to undertake a research trip to Sciences Po and other European institutions to advance the publication of a monograph.
