Event description

Cher Weixia Chen (George Mason University), Felisa Tibbitts (Utrecht University) and Jonathan Liljeblad (Australian National University) will present their new, edited book that explores human rights teaching and research across 13 disciplines and professional studies areas. In an era of multi-disciplinary human rights centres, the book presents how higher education is and might engage in human rights scholarship and teaching.

The online event will be moderated by Jon Verriet of the Netherlands UNESCO Commission and will involve brief presentations by the editors and five authors. There will be an opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas around multi-disciplinary human rights teaching and research.

This event is co-sponsored by SIM/Utrecht University, George Mason University, Australian National University, the Netherlands UNESCO Commission and the Dutch Soroptimists.
