Rosemary Listing is a practising product liability lawyer who has worked in London for the Honourable Norman Palmer QC; as an Associate to the Honourable Justice Sackar at the NSW Supreme Court; and as a solicitor in international disputes; a plaintiff practice; and class actions. She now practises law under an unrestricted certificate.

Rosemary’s research is on product liability in the US, UK and Australia with a particular focus on complex torts and failed implantable medical devices. Her research exposes tensions in the legal test of reasonable behaviour in this context. Based on this tension, she argues for tailored guidance to improve the content of (in particular) reasonable manufacturer behaviour and what the general public is entitled to expect, for the benefit of the court and all interested parties.
