The primary ANU campus is nestled on 145 hectares of beautifully maintained parklands in Acton, Canberra, adjacent to the CBD and Parliamentary Triangle. The campus is home to more than 150 buildings.
The ANU College of Law is contained in a U-shaped building in Acton on the north side of Lake Burley Griffin, just west of the city centre. The Law building is actually four buildings, #5, #6, #6A and #7, and contains several teaching and function venues. Both the ANU Law School and the ANU School of Legal Practice are housed in these College buildings

Driving & parking
Limited pay parking is available on campus, however, we suggest allowing extra time to find a park during teaching periods. You can find more detail on our parking map. Parking around ANU College of Law and Venues is often limited and we recommend that you arrive early when attending an event.
Active transport
Walking
The ANU is an easy 10 minute walk from Canberra’s city centre. The ANU Walks app provides information about outdoor sculpture, heritage and sustainability features on campus and a map to help you plan your walks around ANU.
Catching the bus
ANU is well serviced by buses, with over thirty routes travelling close to and through campus. Routes 3 and 7 (weekdays) and route 934 (weekends), travel through the middle of the ANU campus.
The Blue Rapid express bus travels between Tuggeranong, Woden, Civic and Belconnen town centres with stops near campus. Buses depart every 5-8 minutes on weekdays between 7am - 7pm and every 15 minutes on evenings and weekends.

Bike & ride
Bicycle enclosures, lockers and bicycle hoops are located at many convenient places around Canberra, providing links with major bus routes. Access to bicycle enclosures is via a registered MyWay card. Most ACTION buses are fitted with a bicycle carrier on the front of the bus with space for two bicycles.
Park & ride
Park and Ride facilities allow users to park their car, and transfer to an ACTION bus. All Park and Ride facilities are well lit and most sites offer weather resistant bus shelters.
Bikes enclosures
The campus has over forty enclosures with enough storage space for more than 1800 bikes.
Getting to Canberra
Arriving by plane
ANU is a 15 minute drive from Canberra Airport. An Airport Express bus to and from the city operates regularly throughout the day. Taxis are available at all times of the day.
Arriving by train or coach
Canberra has a direct rail service from Sydney and a combined rail and bus service from Melbourne. Coaches arrive in the city centre, a short taxi journey from ANU.
