Students that engage in a not for credit extra-curricular activity can request financial assistance. This include non-paid internships, study projects, conferences/seminars and competitions.

Student Extracurricular Enrichment Fund (SEEF)  

All Coursework Law students undertaking a Moot competition can request financial assistance from the Director of Moots and Competitions at the ANU College of Law. To apply, please email the Director of Moots and Competitions directly. Support is only available to the teams traveling to compete across Australia or overseas.

ANUSA Assistance Grant

The ANUSA Assistance Grant is designed to provide financial assistance to eligible enrolled students who are experiencing sudden or unexpected financial hardship that is adversely affecting their education. The main criteria for a grant are the demonstration of a genuine need and that continued study may be in jeopardy due to financial hardship.

Student Urgent Relief Bursary (SURF)

ANU students who are experiencing financial hardship and require immediate financial assistance can apply for a Student Urgent Relief Bursary (SURF). For example, you can apply for a 'SURF' if you need to increase your internet gigs in order to study remotely. You can also apply for this bursary if you broke your computer unexpectedly and need financial assistance to replace it. The 'SURF' bursary cannot be used if you are eligible for any other bursary / grant mentioned above. Please visit the website below for full eligibility, exclusions and application form.
