As announced in the latest issue of On Campus, from 2025, all ANU graduation ceremonies will be streamlined to a single week per year. The December 2024 ceremonies will now take place from Monday 31 March to Friday 4 April 2025.
The July 2024 graduation ceremony will proceed as usual, and this will be the final graduation ceremony held in 2024.

Graduation ceremony and Semester / Session courses
Semester two courses
If you complete your last course in semester two 2024, you will be eligible to attend the March/April graduation ceremony. No extra step will be required of you.
Spring session courses
If you complete your last course in the spring session 2024 and the course end date is on or before 31 December 2024, you will be eligible to attend the March/April graduation ceremony. However, you will be required to graduate out of session upon the successful completion of your final course.
Out of Session Conferral
Summer session courses
If you complete your last course in the summer session 2025, you won’t be able to attend the March/April graduation ceremony. You will need to apply to graduate out of session to receive your testamur as soon as possible.

When will I get my testamur
Students will have their award conferred within the month following the publication of semester results. Your Official academic transcript, Australian Higher Education Graduation Statements (AHEGS) and Testamur will be able then via My eQuals. You can use MyeQuals documents to apply for graduate positions.
Hard-copy testamurs will be distributed at the graduation ceremony, or mailed out afterwards if you are not attending the ceremony in person (graduation in-absentia).

Program completion letter
Law students will be able to request a program completion letter from the College one week after release of results of your final semester.
