I have taught Criminal Law and Procedure, Criminal Justice, Cybercrime, Evidence and Intellectual Property courses at the Australian National University and other universities in Australia and overseas. Past positions have included as a Research Analyst at the Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC), and with IP Australia and the Law Council of Australia. I am also admitted as a Barrister in the ACT Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia, and have appeared in criminal proceedings in the ACT and NSW.

I am currently an Honorary Associate Professor at the ANU College of Law.
