On Wednesday 27 March, the Dean of the University of Tokyo Faculty of Law, Professor Ryuji Yamamoto, Vice Dean, Professor Masami Okino and other delegation members, Professors Yoshiaki Morozumi and Shusaku Kitajima and Associate Professor Carol Lawson visited the ANU College of Law. The visit provided an opportunity to sign a new Student Exchange Agreement and discuss developing our existing collaborations.

The agreement signing ceremony was attended by Mr Shin Takakusagi, First Secretary and Education Attaché from the Embassy of Japan, who is himself a graduate of the University of Tokyo.

During a three-day visit to Canberra, the delegation members also attended various meetings focused on their research interests and with key College staff to discuss our research and teaching synergies.

Special thanks to Associate Professor Heather Roberts as well as Associate Professor Lawson for their dedicated efforts to facilitate this engagement with a key partner for the College.
