This lecture will focus on the legal and economic standards used by the Competition Commission of India in vertical restraints and abuse of dominance cases. It will trace the Competition Commission of India’s evolving approach to unilateral conduct, relying on a comprehensive review of all its decisions to date.

Rahul Rai

Rahul Rai is an independent competition lawyer. His practice focuses on contentious competition litigation and strategic merger control. He’s been ranked and recognised as a leading Indian competition lawyer by Global Competition Review and Asia Law 500.

Shruti Aji Murali

Shruti Aji Murali is a competition lawyer and policy researcher. She has practiced competition law at some of India’s largest law firms for over 6 years. At present, she focuses on research and writing in competition and tech policy in India.
