Professor Kiera Ladner
Professor Kiera Ladner

Kiera Ladner is a visiting fellow in the College of Law and The Australian Studies Institute at ANU (until April 13, 2024).  She is a Distinguished Professor and the CRC in Miyo We'citowin, Indigenous Governance and Digital Sovereignties in the Department of Political Studies at the University of Manitoba. She is also the founder of Mamawipawin (the Indigenous Governance and Community Based Research Lab and an Adjunct Professor (research) in the Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University (Australia). She is a Nehiyaw political scientist who works at the intersection of Indigenous politics and law. She is currently working on a number of research projects spanning Digital Sovereignties; (re)gendering decolonization; Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls; and comparative constitutional law and Indigenous politics.
