Hosted by Dr Pip Ryan, this is the third and final event of the Menzies Cyber Law series. In this 90-minute webinar we will explore financial exchanges for space minerals, geospatial technologies, space law ethics and policy, as well as finding and losing ourselves in our personalised and socialised cyber-galaxies.

There will be a follow-up Menzies Cyber Masters Q&A session on Thursday 14 October. This invitation-only discussion will provide an opportunity for a deep-dive into some audience questions posed on the night or afterwards.
Speakers
Bruce Cahan is the Financial Technology Innovator on Earth in Outer Space, and most in-between. He is also an Ashoka Fellow social entrepreneur and a Stanford CodeX Fellow. Bruce has a private law practice, and is a member of the California, New York and Pennsylvania bars. Bruce’s advice on geospatial technologies, sustainable resiliency and disaster preparedness is sought domestically and internationally.
Dr Cassandra Steer is a Mission Specialist with the ANU Institute of Space (InSpace), and a Senior Lecturer at the ANU College of Law specialising in space law, space security and international law. Dr Steer has more than a decade of international experience teaching at universities in Australia, Europe, North America and South America, and brings a comparative perspective to all her research and teaching.
Dr Damian Clifford is a senior lecturer at the Australian National University, College of Law and an associate researcher at Information Law and Policy Centre at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (University of London). His research focuses predominantly on data protection, privacy and the regulation of technology. His research explores citizen-consumers in a personalised galaxy and the impact of emotion influenced decision-making.
