2025 Applications Dates

• Applications Open: Monday 19 May 2025
• Applications Close: Thursday 26 June 2025 at 11:45pm
• *Expected Decision Date: End of September/ Early October 2025

The ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy will pre-select candidates and forward them to the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department (AGD), from which the AGD will choose one candidate to be offered the internship. The final decision rests with the AGD. *The AGD reserves the right not to award a internship to a candidate in any given year. The final outcome from the AGD is expected in September-October 2025.

Documents Required for the application

• Cover letter demonstrating your interest in, and aptitude for, constitutional law;
• An example of Scholarly Writing in Constitutional law (4-5 pages);
• Current CV;
• Two Professional or Academic reference letters.
