As head of the charity arm of the Sony Group of Companies, the nature of Sophie's work allows her to pursue her passion for business and philanthropy and believes the two should be inextricably linked. She has engaged with a wide range of stakeholders both domestically and abroad whilst working for the United Nations in the area of criminal justice in Vienna and Sudan.
- Former International Consultant on the United Nations Prison Reform Project in Southern Sudan and Research Assistant to the UN Special Rapporteur for Torture.
- Co-founded 'Tooth Mob' - an Indigenous oral health program to provide dental treatment to remote Indigenous communities.
- Named the 2013 'Young Leader' in the Australian Financial Review and Westpac 100 Women of Influence awards.
- 2015 Finalist in the Australian Financial Review Boss Magazine 'Young Executive of the Year'.
