I started School of General Studies (Economics) in 1962. In those days there were only several hundred full time Undergraduates in all faculties. We knew each other very well and "lived" at Childers St Common Room. Most students (including law students) were part time, usually public servants. As a consequence, I still know many of the then full time law students, particularly after I then graduated in law and practised in the Public Service followed by general commercial practice in Sydney. I remember moving from Childers St to the now Law School. I certainly remember the Childers St law rooms as very down market. Les Zines was and still is my hero.
