The 2002-2003 Jessup Moot competition, led by Prof Wayne Morgan, changed the way I thought about law school and gave me my ultimate direction in my professional life. I will never forgot all the work, laughter, stress and excitement of that summer. The whole atmosphere heightened by the Canberra bushfires that kept sweeping through and destroying everything. It was simply epic. My memories are of days and days of research on international criminal law, burnt eucalyptus, advocacy training, stolen cigarettes, no sleep and a newfound passion for human rights. Thank you, Wayne.
