  • UPDATEThe Australian National University has decided to cancel public events and social gatherings to minimise the risk of the transmission of COVID-19 among our community and more widely. As a precautionary measure and based upon the advice from our expert panel, we will cancel all public and social events from Monday 16 March until the end of semester one, Saturday 20 June. This is a precautionary measure that we know will be disappointing for many, but our aim is to reduce opportunities for the virus to spread by limiting activity on campus without disrupting our essential teaching and research activities. Cancellation and postponement will extend to all discretionary events including ticketed and non-ticketed public events, public lectures and concerts. More information about event cancellations can be found here.

Since 1960, we have come together on momentous occasions to mark our achievements. 2020 will be no different. This is your official invitation to come join us for a year of reflection, celebration, and inspiration.

Festivities will officially open at the annual ANU Welcome Back: Alumni Weekend which will include an ANU Law 60th Anniversary Festival Day and Gala Dinner on Saturday 21 March 2020. Both events are open to all alumni, staff, students and friends of the ANU Law community. The free to attend family-friendly festival will take place during the day at ANU Law and will officially open our newly refurbished buildings. The gala dinner will take place later that same night at the National Museum of Australia. Further information below.

However, you can join us from January 2020 as we host a year-long series of events and activities for alumni, staff, students, and friends of the ANU Law Community. Further information will be made available over the coming months.
