Research collaboration

The ANU College of Law Research Collaboration will drive research excellence in the College and build strong research connections and collaborations with fellow researchers and stakeholders in the academic, professional and policy communities.

At the ANU, research into the law, in all of its dimensions, has a long and very distinguished reputation, reflected in the fact that legal research at the ANU has received the highest ranking of five in all three of the Excellence in Research for Australia exercises.

The ANU College of Law Research Collaboration acknowledges and celebrates these great achievements and will take ANU Law into the future, providing a platform that will ensure our research will be responsive to the rapidly changing legal, social and political environment of the 21st century.

Research snapshots from 80 members of the academic staff in the College are showcased in our PDF icon ANU College of Law Research Collaboration (2.86 MB). This research covers the full spectrum of legal issues, from private to public law, domestic to international law, law in books to law in action. It also demonstrates the variety of research methods and approaches, including doctrinal, theoretical, interdisciplinary, contextual, and empirical methodologies.
