Biography

Jacinta Dharmananda graduated with a B.Juris (Hons) and LLB from the University of WA. She is admitted to practice in Western Australia and in the State of New York. For a period of nearly 12 years following admission, Jacinta worked in both private practice and in-house positions in the areas of oil and gas, finance and corporate transactions. She has worked as a lawyer in Perth, Melbourne and overseas, including Singapore, Tokyo and New York.  Jacinta joined the UWA Law School Faculty in 2011. Her teaching and research areas are statutory interpretation, the legislative process, and legal ethics.
