Fifth Year law student at the ANU College of Law Abbey Seckerson has gained an internship, beginning in December, at the OECD in Paris. An active member of the Corporate Accountability Project at the ANU College of Law, Abbey will be researching issues about access to justice.
A new book that guides lawyers through the stressful demands of legal practice was launched this month by its co-authors from the ANU College of Law, NSW Law Society and NSW Young Lawyers.
The inaugural Women Lawyers Association ACT awards were announced on the evening of Thursday 3 November at a gala dinner at Old Parliament House. The night was a triumph for the ANU College of Law, with alumni winning in most categories and College alumna and staff member Margie Rowe (BA ’84, LLB ’84) being honoured in both the Community and the Academic categories.
