The role of a lawyer when deployed on military operations

Associate Professor David Letts gave a talk at the Universidad Bernardo O'Higgins School of Law, titled 'The role of a lawyer when deployed on military operations'.

Associate Professor Letts teaches military law at The Australian National University, and is Co-Director of the Centre for Military and Security Law. He previously served as a military lawyer in the Royal Australian Navy, including deployments in East Timor and Iraq.

The audience was composed of professors of the School and members of Military Justice of the Chilean Army, led by the Judge Advocate General, General de Brigade Waldo Martínez Cáceres.
