ANU Law expert's report on CSIRO workplace bullying published

The Report of Phase 1 of the Investigation conducted by ANU College of Law Emeritus Professor Pearce, , into 'Workplace conduct in CSIRO' was made public on 14 August 2013.

Professor Pearce's invetigation, conducted with the support of a team from HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, found that the CSIRO workplace was not 'toxic', as alleged but there were 'hotspots' in the organisation that needed attention.

The Report contains 31 recommendations for changes, primarily in regard to the way in which misconduct is dealt with by the Organisation.

CSIRO has indicated that all the recommendations have been accepted and will be implemented. The investigation teamreceived 113 submissions relating to 130 instances of alleged misconduct.
