Selected Topics in Australian-United States Comparative Law (LAWS4257) is a course jointly taught by academics from The Australian National University (ANU) and the University of Alabama Law School. Students are encouraged to think creatively about how to communicate their research findings to non-legal audiences through non-traditional assessment formats.
In this video, ANU Bachelor of Economics/Laws (Hons) student Julia Liu explains the inspiration for her assessment: a fictionalised transcript between Justices Michael Kirby AC, CMG and Ruth Bader Ginsburg from the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of the United States, respectively.
