There are a few professional staff movements to let you know about:
Today is the last day for Emily Barlow. Emily is one of our law students and has been working as the Publications Officer for FLR and Yearbook. It is time for Emily to move into the brave world post-student. Emily’s sterling contribution to keeping these two publications published and circulated over the last year or so has been critical, and I’m sure our editors would join me in thanking Emily for all her efforts. Another of our students, Isabella Wildsmith, will be taking over in this role from tomorrow.
Francesca Baas Becking has commenced in the College Research Office and is now in residence in the new Research Office next to Anita near Finance. We welcome Francesca and her energy and enthusiasm for helping our academic staff to further their research goals. A reminder that Anita is both the Finance and Research Manager at the moment, so please see Anita if Francesca is unavailable.
Muhammad Ammad has commenced as our Marketing and Recruitment Coordinator. Muhammad is focussed on our student recruitment, particularly post grad and international and both Jonathan and Muhammad are keen to hear from Program Directors and Stream Convenors about their desires and ideas for student recruitment in 2017 and beyond. He started with Post Grad Information Evening last night, so welcome Muhammad!
Please drop by and say hello to our new staff. And best wishes to Emily.
Di Stewart, General Manager, ANU College of Law
