Dear Colleagues
Everyone knows how important it is to behave courteously at work, and we especially notice this if we are ever exposed to a discourtesy.
Gail Frank, the University’s Adviser to Staff has recorded a short “Talking Tip” about the impact of courtesy at work and some of the current research in this area.
This is part of a broader program of work undertaken by the ANU Advisor to Staff and the Counsellors at the ANU Counselling Centre, who have recorded some Talking Tips covering a range of topics to help us be our best at work.
The Talking Tips can be found on the Employee Assistance Program page and are located under the Resources heading (at the bottom of the page):
Topics include:
- Anxiety Management Techniques
- Improving Your Sleep
- Mindfulness
- Procrastination
- Talking Tip - Courtesy at Work
You can access them at any time that suits you.
With thanks, Nadine
