UPDATE 10/4 -

Our Space Law mooting team didn't quite make it - Singapore (NUS) won the Grand Final, BUT.. ANU Law student Dan Trevanion was awarded the best speaker in the Grand Final. Really well done guys, on a great effort and superb result.

Dear All,

I’m thrilled to pass on some good mooting news.

The ANU IASLA Space Law Moot team consisting of Kate Martin, Dan Trevanion, Matthew Staraj and Samantha Woodforde are currently competing in Sydney and have made it to the Grand Final of the Asia-Pacific Rounds.  They will be facing the National University of Singapore tomorrow afternoon.  The winner of that moot will advance to the international finals later in the year.

The moot is at the Banco Court in the NSW Supreme Court at 3pm, and is open to the public, if anyone is in Sydney and feels like watching what will no doubt be a very high standard moot.

Best of luck to the team!

Kind Regards, Imogen Saunders
