Dear Colleagues,

The congratulatory emails keep on coming!

Yesterday evening the University held the annual Staff Excellence Awards and I am very pleased to share the news that three of our colleagues were recognised for their work.

• Andrew Macintosh received an individual Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Public Policy and Outreach. The award recognises Andrew’s outstanding contributions to environmental law and public policy development.

• Anne McNaughton was a member of the Centre for European Studies group which received the team Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Public Policy and Outreach, recognising the excellence of their contributions to public policy in relation to the European Union.

• Mary Spiers Williams received the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Reconciliation, in recognition of her powerful commitment to promoting reconciliation through her teaching, philosophy and practice.

Congratulations Andrew, Anne and Mary on this very well deserved recognition of the depth of your commitment and the impact of your contributions.
