Dear Colleagues

The good news just keeps on coming!

Yesterday evening, the annual ANU Media and Outreach Awards ceremony was held, and I am very pleased to say that the work of colleagues in this College was recognised in three categories:

• Kim Rubenstein received the 24/7 Award for Most Impressive Media Performance, AND a Vice-Chancellor's Award for Advancing the Reputation of the University Through Media, in recognition of her tireless – and continuing – media work on the Parliamentary citizenship issue, including an impressive appearance on Q&A.

• The College Marketing and Outreach Team received the Digital Award for its creative use of digital media – in particular, The Constitutional podcasts which capture conversations between ABC radio host Alex Sloan and members of the College community as they stroll around the campus. To quote our website: ‘It’s a love letter to the law, to the ANU and to Canberra’.

Congratulations to Kim and to the Team, not just for receiving these Awards, but for the creativity and commitment that went into the work that the Awards recognise.
