This week we complete the room moves and effective Monday, 6 November, building 6 (North Wing) becomes a building site. This is your chance to wander those corridors for the last time before construction works start.
Law Village
A map showing the location of all buildings occupied by the ANU College of Law is attached to help you find your way to other buildings. There will also be plenty of signage around to direct people.
Where is my colleague?
We are updating the Our People page to reflect the room moves, but in the meantime you can use the spreadsheet attached to locate a colleague.
Building works
Shaw Building takes possession of building 6 on Monday to start the renovation. Site fencing and hoarding will be installed according to the map attached. There won’t be any changes to road conditions and to adjacent building access during phase one of the building renovation. However there will be an increase in road traffic as cars and trucks go in and out of the job site via Fellows Lane.
Carpark
None of the carparks around the Law building will be closed during phase one of renovation.
Fellows Road Law Theatres
Fellows Road Law Theatres will be unavailable for use until completion of the North Wing redevelopment.
Noise and dust
From next week you can expect the noise and dust usual of a construction site. There are spare rooms available in K Block if you need a quite space. Please see the Services Office if you would like to access on of the rooms available.
