I write to share the news that Bea Hogan, EA to the Dean and to the College General Manager, has taken up the position of Senior Administrative Officer in the National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science at ANU. Her last day in the College will be Friday 25 August.
This is sad news for us, but an exciting move for Bea – I know you join with me in wishing her the very best for this next phase of her stellar career, and in thanking her for the many ways in which she has so truly embodied the spirit of collegiality in this College. Speaking personally, I want to acknowledge the huge task that Bea has performed in making the Dean’s office function; it has been a true pleasure to work with her.
There will be a farewell afternoon tea for Bea on Monday 21 August at 3pm in the Phillipa Weeks Staff Library.
(Her last day with us is Friday 25 August, but we are getting in early with an afternoon tea.)
