Dear Colleagues

Recently I called for expressions of interest in taking on the role of Associate Dean (Education) when Wayne Morgan finishes his term early next year. As a result of that process, I am very pleased to announce that Vivien Holmes will be our next AD(E)! Vivien will formally commence her new role on 1 April 2018 (and there is no significance in that date), but will be ‘shadowing’ Wayne before then.

I want to thank Vivien for stepping forward to take on a role that has huge significance for the work of this College. There is always an element of sacrifice in this position – setting aside other pursuits in order to further the education interests of the College and the wider University – and Vivien’s willingness to do this is greatly appreciated.

There will be further occasion to thank Wayne for his massive contribution to the AD(E) role, but for now I simply record (again) my deep gratitude for all that he has done (and will do into the new year).
