Dear Colleagues

I am very pleased to announce the successful outcomes of this year’s Local Promotions round. As a reminder, under the University Promotions Policy, the College’s Local Promotions Committee considers applications for promotion to Levels C (Senior Lecturer) and D (Associate Professor). Promotions from Level A to B (Lecturer) are dealt with by the Dean, and are reported to the Local Promotions Committee. Promotions to Level E (Professor) are decided by the University Promotions Committee through a separate process.

This year the Local Promotions Committee consisted of me, Peta Spender, Tony Connolly, Vivien Holmes, Kim Rubenstein, James Stellios, Keturah Whitford (external member from College of Business and Economics) and Veronica Taylor (external member from RegNet, College of Asia and the Pacific). I thank members of the Committee for their contributions to this important part of our academic process. Thanks also to Anna Carrick and Nari Yoon from our HR team for their work in supporting the Committee.
