This is a reminder to remind your students (via WATTLE sites etc) that nominations close on Monday 16 October for the ANU College of Law Excellence in Education Awards.

Students are encouraged to nominate a teacher, tutor or supervisor who has inspired them and/or really helped them understand an area of law.

Each year, the ANU College of Law acknowledges staff who have displayed educational excellence with an Excellence in Education award. Law students are encouraged to nominate staff members for an award, which are presented at the College Staff Dinner in December.

A/Prof Asmi Wood has been recognised by the VC as one of the University's first six 'Distinguished Educators', for his eminence and sustained exceptional performance in relation to teaching and learning.

The next round of Wattle archiving is due to take place from Wednesday onwards. All courses in the categories: Winter, Spring and Semester 2, 2015; and Summer, Autumn and Semester 1, 2016 will be archived at this time.

This course is a great platform for application to be a fellow/ senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

The shortest possible timelines for approval of changes in courses or curriculum - NOW is the time to begin a dialogue with Molly or Miriam Gani or Amelia Simpson or Wayne Morgan. The last LLB Program Committee at which new courses may be approved for 2018 is on 21 June. The last LLB Program Committee meeting at which changes in course details may be approved for 2018 is on 27 September.
