I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Associate Professor Sarah Heathcote as Deputy Director of the Centre for International and Public Law. Sarah’s recognised expertise in international law will add great value to the Centre’s activities and enhance our deepening engagement with government.
After 9.5 years of driving up and down the Hume Highway, Professor Simon Rice has decided, with regret, that it is time to resume life as a full-time Sydney-sider, and so he will be leaving us on 30 June this year. Simon will be taking up a Chair at Sydney Law School, as Professor of Law – Professional and Community Engagement.
After a period of extended leave, Katy Paterson has resigned from the position of College Research Manager. Katy has spent nearly 8 years with the College in a variety of roles, her most recent leading the College Research Office (previously known as CREST).
With regret I write to share with you the news that Professor Paul Maharg will be leaving us at the end of April to take up a position as Distinguished Professor of Practice – Legal Education at Osgood Hall Law School, York University, Toronto.
