Ideas and discussion, and how a Teaching Enhancement Grant might help.

In the forum, we will discuss various method of engaging large cohorts of students:

  • Jo Ford will demonstrate how he trialled, in a very large course, polling tools using students’ own devices to engage students and get a sense of their understanding
  • Anthony Hopkins and Molly O’Brien will speak about experiential learning in large cohorts
  • Anneka Ferguson and Vivien Holmes will explain their use of Teaching Enhancement Grant money to produce an oral narrative that weaves through LJE
  • Wayne Morgan will speak to the TEG process and what makes for a good application
