Next Steps: Towards Reconciliation

The ANU LRSJ Indigenous Reconciliation Project is hosting a panel discussion on Next Steps: Towards Reconciliation.

The panel will discuss the key recommendations from The Uluru Statement From the Heart, including Voice, Treaty, Truth, and the next steps we must take towards reaching true reconciliation.

Panellists include:

  • Craig Ritchie, CEO of The Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS)
  • Jo Chivers, Deputy Chairperson of the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elected Body (ATSIEB)
  • Emma Towney, Canberra Community Law
  • Cheyne Halloran, United Ngunnawal Elders Council (UNEC)
  • Rita Metzenrath, ANTaR

The panel will be moderated by Professor Tony Dreise, Director of the Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research (CAEPR) at The Australian National University.
