Centre for Law, Art and Humanities would like to invite ANU College of Law students interested in law, theatre and performing arts to join ANU College of Law’s new Antigone drama group.

The purpose of the group is to go beyond debating issues related to the intersections of law and theatre. Antigone will prepare and stage plays reflecting the problems of justice and law and is run by Dr Dorota Gozdecka who has 8 years’ previous experience in leading a drama group and directing various plays.

If you think you would like to be on stage, or take part in drafting scripts, preparing stage settings, music or costumes please join us. During this meeting we will improvise and discuss our work for Semester 1, 2017.

Please come in with an idea of a play you would like to see staged. Be prepared to tell the group: the title of the play you’d like to see staged, brief summary of it, number of characters and difficulty as well as the link with the issues of law and social justice.
