Join us for an introduction (or re-introduction) to Australia's cultural, political and judicial landscape as we delve into discussions each week to learn about law where the laws are made.

All sessions are held virtually over Zoom.

International students across all degree types and years are welcome to join.

Week 7: Australia's legal system

Week 8: Australia's political landscape

Along with cockatoos, kangaroos and echidnas, you're likely to encounter another iconic wildlife species in Canberra: politicians. You know about Parliament House, but do you know the difference between the upper and lower house? From Scullin to Sco-Mo, join Associate Professor Joshua Neoh, Sub-Dean (International), and ANULSS International Director Sean See as they unpack the Australian political landscape and what distinguishes it from their own respective countries, Singapore and China.

As as a new law student, preparing for law school examinations may seem pretty daunting.
