Reprieve Australia advocates for the abolition of the death penalty and facilitates legal and humanitarian assistance to individuals facing the death penalty.

A key component of Reprieve is offering international internships in the United States and South East Asia for committed individuals to assist leading human rights advocates in the representation of defendants facing execution.

Former Reprieve interns Adam Ingle (Capital Appeals Project – 2013) and David Swan (Louisiana Capital Assistance Center – 2012) will give a brief talk outlining their experiences and answering questions for interested students who may wish to become actively involved as a Reprieve Intern.
