Barriers and access to environmental justice in administrative law

Join The Hon Justice Sandra Duggan from the NSW Land and Environment Court as she discusses the people's capacity to check and balance power through the everyday use of administrative law.

The talk will explore the public interest as an evolving concept, the nature and interpretation of open standing provisions in environmental legislation, and the ways in which legal representation and costs orders act as barriers to access to justice.

Participants who are unable to make it in person are welcome to join the session via Zoom webinar.
