ANU College of Law Exhibition Moot 2021

Thinking of competing in a moot? Interested in learning more? Or just want to witness mooters in action?

Join us in this exhibition moot where some of our most experienced student mooters showcase their skills in developing arguments for a problem based on gender identity and sexuality law.

This moot explores how the law protects and discriminates against people who are LGBTQIA plus. It centres around a student who is expelled from an all-boys school because they are transgender and a teacher who is demoted because of their sexual identity.

The moot will be followed by a Q&A session and drinks on the law lawns.

This is your chance to chat with students who previously competed at Jessup Moot, the world’s largest competition, and the Director of Mooting and Student Competition, Associate Professor Kate Ogg.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, registration for this event is essential and social distancing must be adhered to.

Can't attend in-person? Register to join us via Zoom!
