'Forms' was written for a conference at Cardozo Law School on Derrida and the Law, which Derrida himself attended and at which he gave a keynote address. Intended as an 'hommage', it is part essay and part performance piece. It seeks to deconstruct the language of the Summons used to commence civil actions in the federal courts of the United States.
