JD (Online) students

The purpose of this web page is to provide information to students undertaking the Juris Doctor (Online) program.

Enrolling for the first time

If you've received and accepted an offer to study the Juris Doctor (Online), there's just one more box to tick. Before starting the program, you need to formally enrol.

Study patterns for the Juris Doctor (Online) are available below.

Re-enrolling

Current and continuing coursework students must re-enrol themselves for each session by the appropriate deadline.

Session commencement dates for 2017

  • Summer - 16th January 2017
  • Autumn - 8th May 2017
  • Winter - 28th August 2017

Managing your program

As a postgraduate student of ANU you take responsibility for your own studies administratively and academically. This includes correctly enrolling in the courses, updating your personal details in the ANU system through ISIS, applying for program leave, withdrawing from a course without financial and/or academic penalty, verifying Census Date deadlines, applying for FEE-HELP (if you are eligible) and more.

Policies and Procedures

Please go to Policies and Procedures for information on (but not limited to):

  • Assessment review & appeals
  • Credit (Status)
  • Word limits
  • Special Consideration
  • Course study load & overloading
  • Academic Integrity / Misconduct

Check your program fees

All students will receive an invoice in ISIS in the first weeks of each session you are enrolled in. Your invoice will indicate the cost of your course tuition, and the due date for payment.

Eligible domestic students may apply for FEE-HELP through ISIS to defer their fees to the Australian Taxation Office. Ensure you apply for FEE-HELP before the course Census Date or you will need to pay your fees upfront.
